OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. 

How To Enter

Beginning 6:00:01 a.m. (Pacific Time) on July 1, 2008, and ending at 5:00:01 p.m. (PT) on July 31, 2008, go to www.SearchByInseam.com, complete and submit the survey form and your email address per the on-screen instructions, and you will be entered in the Search By Inseam $50 Nordstrom gift card drawing. Entries submitted without all of the required entry information may be disqualified. All entries must be received by Search By Inseam (a.k.a. “Sponsor”) by 5:00:01 p.m. (PT) on July 31, 2008. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, inaccurate, mutilated, entries. Except as provided below, limit one entry per person or e-mail address. 

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the U.S. who have reached the age of majority in their state of residence at time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees and affiliates of Sponsor (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same household of each) are not eligible. 

Random Drawing

A random drawing to select winner will be held on or about August 1, 2008, from among all eligible entries received. Decisions of judges are final and binding. Winner will be notified by e-mail within ten (10) days after the drawing is held. Odds of being selected will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. 

Prize and Approximate Retail Value

The following prize will be awarded: One (1) Grand Prize, consisting of a $50.00 gift certificate redeemable at Nordstrom or Nordstrom.com. Redemption of gift certificates will be subject to Nordstrom’s standard terms, conditions and restrictions applicable to gift certificates in effect on the day of issuance of the gift certificate. All other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner. ALL TAXES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. 

Conditions of Participation

A potential winner may forfeit prize if Sponsor is unable to contact him or her within 7 days of first attempted notification. In such event, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize for an item of equal or greater value. The prize is awarded without warranty of any kind from Sponsor, express or implied, without limitation. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants agree to hold Sponsor and affiliates harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation, even if caused or contributed to by the negligence of Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration, or in the announcement of the prize. Only one (1) prize will be awarded.  

Internet

Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the offer. Sponsor reserves the right to select winner from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Caution: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law.
