Where to Buy Plus-Size Jeans

It can be hard to find plus-size jeans, and even harder to find cute plus-size jeans that actually fit right! Here are few sites we recommend for buying women's denim in plus sizes:   

Search By Inseam is great because the site allows you to search multiple sellers at once, saving you time and money. You can select your exact inseam length, favorite brands, and/or price range, and easily compare the results. You're likely to find jeans in your size from Alloy, Apple Bottoms, Avenue, Baby Phat, Calvin Klein, dELiA*s, Dickies, Eddie Bauer, Freestyle Revolution, Gap, Jag Jeans, l.e.i., Levi's, Liz Claiborne, Not Your Daughter's Jeans, Old Navy, Paige Denim, Paris Blues, Piper, Revolt, Torrid, Truck Jeans, and Z. Cavaricci. Inseams typically range from 24 inches to 37 inches. New brands and styles are being added all the time, and you can sign up for notifications when a  new pair of jeans is added to the site that fits your specific criteria.

Junonia seems to always have several pairs of jeans that go up to size 6X, in inseams of 28, 30, and 33 inches. The company also has denim capris in shorter lengths, as well as denim skirts. We love the fact that their customer service is available 24/7.

Boden carries some really cute styles that sell out fast. The largest size we've seen so far is a 20. Inseams come in 31 and 33 inches. Shipping is a $10 flat rate which isn't bad considering all orders are mailed directly from the UK; and, if you place another order on the same day, shipping's free! 

Old Navy now sells plus sizes online exclusively. You can find stylish styles in size 16-30 for around $30. Inseams come in 30, 32, and 34 inches. Shipping is just $5 on any order, and returns are free to any Old Navy store.    

BLAIR has a number of older, tapered leg-type styles, but there are some more stylish options occasionally. Their customer reviews are very helpful, and the company clearly has some dedicated customers. Typical inseams are 28, 29.5, and 31.5 inches.

Monterey Bay Clothing Company is a bit hipper than BLAIR and does carry some nice tummy-tucking bootcut jeans in sizes up to 24. Common inseams on this site include 28, 31, and 34 inches.

Target.com doesn't have a huge selection of plus jeans, but they do have some trendy styles and great prices (typically less than $30). Depending on the brand, their inseams range from 29 inches to 35.5 inches, and the site carries up to size 28. Most items can be returned free to any Target store.

LizClaiborne.com now offers plus denim, and they should be adding to their collection soon (which is currently only 2 pairs of full-length jeans, but they are both cute). Sizes are 14W-24W with 31 inch inseams.  

AppleBottoms.com has great jeans up to size 23/24 in the 'Curvy Ladies' section, and the photos just ooze attitude. Most inseams are a standard designer denim length of 34 inches.

BabyPhat.com should definitely be a stop for tall plus-size women because they carry 36 inch inseams. Other jeans on the site have 33.5 inch inseams, which can be hard to find elsewhere. Sizes go up to 24.

Eddie Bauer   and Eddie Bauer Outlet carry plus size denim in inseams of 31.5, 32, and 35 inches in sizes up to 20. Purchases from Eddie Bauer can be returned free of charge to any brick and mortar store.  

Woman Within is the new name of Lane Bryant Catalog. This site carries sizes 12W to 44W, although it's hard to find a plus-sized model on the site! Jean inseams range from 28 inches to 34 inches. It's worth noting that there are also some plus maternity jeans as well.          

Avenue.com sells the popular Seven7 jeans, as well as tummy control jeans and their own label. Sizes range from 14-26, and the inseams we've seen are 28.5, 30, 31, 33, and 33.5 inches.
  
Alloy.com is another one for tall plus-size women to check out because they offer 35 and 37 inch inseams, as well as the normal 30, 32, and 33 inch inseams. It's a teeny-bopper site, so prices are low and trendiness is high. Sizes go up to 25.  

NORDSTROM.com has their Plus-Size Shop with some great denim brands such as Anne Klein, Jones New York, Karen Kane, Lauren by Ralph Lauren, MICHAEL Michael Kors, Nine West, Not Your Daughter's Jeans, Paige Denim, and more. Some brands go up to a size 26, and inseams of 30, 32, and 33 are most common. Shipping is only $5, and returns are free to any Nordstrom store.  

Gap.com carries jeans up to size 20 in inseams of 29, 30, 32, 34, and 36 inches. Shipping is $6 on any size order, and you can return anything that doesn't fit for free at a Gap store.

Torrid.com boasts brands such as Baby Phat, Apple Bottoms, l.e.i., Dickies, Paris Blues, and their own label, among others. Inseams are easy to locate and typically come in 30, 32, 34, and 36 inches. Most jeans go up to a size 26. Returns are free at your local store.
 
dELiA*s is another teen-centered site where the jeans are inexpensive. Their largest size is a 19/20, and inseams start smaller at 26 and 28 inches, and then continue with 30, 32, 34, and 36 inches.

macys.com  sells women's plus jeans up to a size 24 and carries brands like Rocawear, Baby Phat, Calvin Klein, l.e.i., Jones New York, Style & co., Seven7, Lauren by Ralph Lauren, and MICHAEL Michael Kors. Inseams range from 29 to 34, and returns are free to your local Macy's.
